Job Description:
  • Working with enterprise-level Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) network and data storage environments to ensure compliance is achieved within the deliverable period of performance provided. 
  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. 
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations, and regarding associated problems, issues or conflicts and potential outages. 
  • Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Prepare, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documentation to include systems configuration, architectural, software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. 
  • Provide strategic guidance and engineering to successfully manage and align multiple projects and capabilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise and collaborate with IC/DoD stakeholders and users to analyze systems and operations performance metrics, reporting requirements, and exchange knowledge regarding current and proposed systems.
  • Communicate status, issues, and roadblocks to the PMO on a recurring basis.
  • Facilitate the integration of new capabilities into the system-of-systems design for the program.
Job Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in DEVOPS using tools such as Puppet, Salt, Forman and other automated deployment capabilities, as well as vmWare.
  • Demonstrated experience is required in the areas of Cloud Utility Services such as IaaS, PaaS, and DBaaS, user interface/user experience design and development, systems integration, software development best practices, technical design, and technical documentation, including the ability to perform technical research and document program requirements.
  • This position requires strong technical and communication skills. Successful candidates will be great communicators, good listeners, comfortable with change and uncertainty, big-picture oriented, and technically proficient.
  • Submitted candidates must meet the minimum experience and education requirements to qualify for the Systems Engineer Level 6 (SE6) labor category.
Individual Capabilities Desired:
  • Acquisition knowledge/documentation experience.
  • Functional Requirements Documentation development.
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certification.
  • Prior software development and interface requirements experience
